Lent Midweek Dinner & Congregational Canvass
For 40 days, we fix our eyes on Jesus as we see him suffering for our sins.
The time of Lent reminds us that to know Christ and the power of his resurrection,
we must also know the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings. As disciples of the
Lord Jesus, we are called to struggle against everything that leads us away from
the love of God and our neighbor.
Join us at church this Wednesday, starting at 6:00 pm.
We'll meet for a meal and enjoy some Christian fellowship.
We’ll disperse around 6:30 pm for a congregational canvass and go hang
up invitations for our Easter festival service on the doorknobs of a nearby subdivision.
Choir practice (all are invited!) will begin at 7.30pm.
If you have ever wanted the chance to share Jesus with your neighbors but did not know what to say, this canvassing opportunity is for you.
No talking necessary. You don't even ring the door bell. You just hang an invitation on the door and walk to the next home.
No training necessary. This is simply an easy way to get invitations out to our community. Bring the whole family.
No long time commitment. You will be working for one hour.
