Martin Luther College Trip - November 24-27, 2019

It’s time again for our District’s Martin Luther College Trip. This is an opportunity for high school students to tour and experience Martin Luther College at minimal cost to the student
WHO: South Atlantic District youth who are considering attending a Martin Luther College. If you’re even remotely considering the public ministry, this trip is for you!
WHEN: November 24-27, 2019
WHAT: A 4-day trip led by Pastor Jonathan Scharf. This year, we’ve scheduled it at a time when MLC is in session, but many local high schools have a break.

  • Sunday, November 24th - Welcome, stay overnight at MLC & enjoy a taste of college life
  • Monday, November 25th – Classes, tours, food and fun, stay overnight at MLC
  • Tuesday, November 26th – Start the day at MLC, and then head to the Twin Cities for Mall of America, hotel (maybe with waterpark), and get ready for morning flights
  • Wednesday, November 27th – Head to airport and fly home

WHERE: Martin Luther College (1995 Luther Ct., New Ulm, MN 56073)
COST: The cost of the trip is the student’s round-trip flight to Minneapolis / St. Paul Airport (MSP) MINUS $150 reimbursement given by MLC. All of the meals, lodging and travel in MN is covered by MLC and the South Atlantic District Youth Fund. The South Atlantic District Youth Fund will also cover $100 off the cost any accompanying parent or chaperone’s flight. (Currently Spirit Air has a flight from Atlanta for $220 round trip.)
